Taking advantage of organizational intelligence generated from collaborative intelligence for decision making: Overcoming blocking factors.

Collaborative Intelligence possessed by individuals who are part of an organization can generate Organizational Intelligence to improve decision making. But…Collaborative Intelligence: Is it intrinsic to the individual? Can individuals learn to collaborate? Does it depend on the type of organization or profession? To produce intelligence in organizations – Organizational Intelligence – individuals must put their Individual Intelligence at their service. The union of these Individual Intelligences, forming groups or efficient work teams, becomes Collaborative Intelligence. This provides a competitive advantage for organizations. Knowledge management and the formation of efficient teams is one of the biggest problems faced by organizations. Some authors claim that knowledge cannot be managed and also individuals are reluctant to collaborate. What reasons do individuals have to avoid collaboration? What circumstances occur in organizations so that collaboration does not occur?
